Manufacturer Recall

Recently in the news we have been bombarded with a large number of recalls. The largest of them all being the toys that children often use for recreational play and enjoyment. We have watched stunned as a nation wondering how the manufacturers of these companies can allow such dangerous items to be in the hands of the most fragile individuals in our world…our children. Everyone has an excuse, the tier levels of management blame the factories, the factories blame the manufacturer overseas and the list goes on and on. Some of the toys have been known to have large amounts of lead that can cause developmental disorders like autism and other common diseases, other toys have small pieces that are not appropriate for the age groups in which they have been rated suitable and still other toys have caused minor injuries due to the nature in which they were made.
Toys represent enjoyment, innocence and loads of fun. They always have the best see through packaging that displays their shiny bright lights and colorful outfits. They are varied, different, and ever-changing. Toys have purpose, they are created to heighten curiosity and enhance growth. Toys are created to develop four major areas, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual. And so it is with us. We are all similar to toys in some way or another. We walk through life in colorful outfits with painted on smiles stuffed inside see-through packages. We are varied, diverse, and ever-changing. We all have purpose for which we were created. We grow and develop in the core areas of our lives. But just like toys we are not always deemed operable. Oftentimes, once you begin to dig deep and take us apart you find pieces of us that may harm you. We try to hide in our packaging but the poisons inside of us keep spilling out onto others causing deep wounds. There are small parts in us that will be harmful if consumed and don’t forget that we are not always rated appropriately. Some of us should be marked with the rating: Rated NP - Not suitable for people.
How do we handle the toy crisis in our world today? We could be like the toy makers and blame everyone else. That always seems to solve the problem. I think we should look deep inside and submit to the recall. Who’s calling…His name is God, Our Creator. He has summoned for each and every broken person that he has created. He desires to fix us up in all of our shattered pieces. It is his assignment as CEO of People Manufacturing to ensure that all of are parts are meeting the guidelines set forth by quality assurance. He longs to create a new image in us that would give us a new presentation in the industry. The good thing about us is that we come with a warranty. We can go back to the maker anytime with or without the recall, but when we submit he welcomes us with open arms. He embraces each one of us and tends to each and every piece. With a little bit of love, understanding and correction, he kisses us with his seal and sends us back out to the world. We are never considered completely inoperable, we don’t end up in garage sales or trash cans. No, we are placed back on the shelves of life, we are like a new beings waiting to be purchased, unwrapped and revealed.

Well done! Well written! Well received! How refreshing it is to read the perspective of one of Daddy’s Leading Ladies! I applaud you for launching out and following your passion to write. I am already inspired by your words and I look forward to reading more that God has given you to share. I appreciate the reminder that all recalls aren’t negative, but some are necessary to assist us in getting to “that place” of wholeness that God has for each of His creations. God’s best to you…this day and always.
I am proud and excited, I can’t wait to hear more of what God has put in your spirit to share with all people black, white, yellow, rich, poor, ugly, pretty, or in between I believe everyone will be blessed by your words so have courage and continue to speak them.
Good job!!! I look forward to your next posting.
Excellcent insight and illustration. Though God made His world and said that it was good, the stain of sin has chipped away little pieces of us and it is comforting to know that He knows how to fix us. I am proud of you. Keep up the good work.
